The King's Head was one of the first fringe theatre operating with a regular series of productions in London. Small, awkwardly shaped and invariably boiling hot, it was nevertheless a hot-bed of burgeoning talent. The new King's Head has opened around the corner, but this old building holds many memories for me as a reviewer through the turn of the century.
