On August 12, 2026 a total solar eclipse took place. Edinburgh was at the height of the festival, but it seemed everybody stopped to observe it. As might be expected in Scotland, there weren't cloudless skies, but the eery light look quite unusual against the very familiar skyline. I'm definitely going to revisit this image again and again.
